Patrick Sweany Band

No doubt Patrick Sweany’s got blues singing and songwriting swagger to burn. Some call him the working man’s musician. With 20+years of touring nationally and internationally and 12 albums, his blend of contemporary and vintage vibes simultaneously updates the genre making his style tough to classify. Whatever you tag it, his gritty musical groove is not to be missed. Cleveland Scene Best of Cleveland Award says, “A Sweany set can veer from soulful, slow burn, John Lee Hooker-style blues to swampy, delta-country pickin’ to white-hot rockabilly…Sweany has arrived as a major talent.” Glide Magazine says of Sweany, “His set was both explosive and nuanced, mixing the right amount of bluesman bravado with a proper display of his skills as a songwriter. There is no denying that Patrick Sweany is a criminally underrated musician…”

Terry Quiett Band

Electric blues and rock fans searching for a new guitar hero need look no further. In just a few years, the Terry Quiett Band has become a mainstay across America. Wherever they go the TQB has won over young and old with their energetic and soulful sound. Their last original music release, Truth & Intent, features swampy grooves to heart-tugging ballads to driving rockers. Chris Spector, Midwest Records says of TQB, “Kicking things off with the kind of choogling boogie blues that electrifies your hair endings and fries your synapses, Quiett is now leading the blues power trio to beat. A monster of an unfettered frat party run wild, you can just picture this crew providing the juice in the middle of a power outage in the middle of the American night. Hard hitting, killer stuff that shows others just how it’s done.”

Hadden Sayers (Solo)

“Hadden is pretty much my Hero.” High praise from Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. Equal parts blue-eyed soul and red-hot guitar, native-Texan Hadden Sayers is just as comfortable on a massive festival stage with a Stratocaster in his hands as he is backing Ruthie Foster or strumming an acoustic guitar in your living room. His passionate playing and songwriting style, which twists roots rock, blues, and soul music into something completely fresh, is what sets him apart from the pack. Sayers, commenting on his latest release, Dopamine Machine, says it “is more from-the-heart than any of my other releases. It was written and recorded without any concern for what genre it may fit into. That lack of concern for how I fit into the music world made recording even more inspiring than it already is for me and it shows.” We are eagerly anticipating his long-awaited return to Omaha.
